National Sangria Day

In honor of National Sangria Day, we’re mixing up the perfect pomegranate sangria with a splash of Suja’s Classic Fuel just for you! In addition to being a delicious and festive drink, the ingredients just so happen to be good for you as well. Turmeric (found in Fuel) is a well known anti-inflammatory (1), pomegranate is known to promote blood circulation (2) and both cranberries (3) and oranges (4) are high in vitamin C.
Pomegranate & Orange Sangria Recipe
Ingredients

- 1 bottle red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon is preferred)

- 1 cup brandy

- 1 cup of pomegranate juice

- 1 cup of Fuel

- 1 orange, sliced

- Seeds from 1 pomegranate

- 1 cup fresh cranberries

- 1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
In a large pitcher, stir together the wine, brandy and juice. Add orange slices, pomegranate seeds, cranberries and cinnamon stick. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve. Pour over ice in festive wine glasses and serve to your very merry guests!
